Joining the Wilcox Robotics Club!

Interested in joining the Wilcox Robotics Club? Here is some of the cool stuff we do every day!

Create

Each year, teams engage in a new game where they design, build, test, and program autonomous and driver-operated robots that must perform a series of tasks. Make designs with your team, fabricate parts, or write code to create a custom bot!

COMPETE

The club comprises two robotics teams competing in a global competition named FTC (First Tech Challenge), which is part of a larger FIRST program. The Junior Varsity team 13190 Roblivion is made up of newer members while our Varsity team 8872 Robopocalypse has more experienced players. Bots play against each other to see which team can carry out certain season-specific tasks most efficiently in autonomous and driver-controlled periods.

IMPACT

Our team strives to make an impact in our community and introduce the world of STEM to various groups. We love teaching classes, hosting seminars, and showing off our work in the hopes to inspire others. We need good organizers in order to find opportunities and plan events. You may have seen our work around the Wilcox campus.
