About Us

FTC robotics.

This is team 8872 Robopocalypse’s 11th year competing in FTC. Our team has not only competed in the FIRST Tech Challenge robotics competition but also aims to inspire STEM worldwide and in our local community. Reaching into our local community is very important in helping us reach our goal of personalized outreach. We did this by participating in programs that matched our community’s uniqueness—improving it in our special way.

We have three departments: hardware, software, and business. Our departments all work very closely with each other to construct a competitive robot. For example, the hardware team often helps the software team build a test chassis that can be used for programming movement. This allows our mechanical team to work on the main mechanism of the robot. Our business team manages this website, keeps track of expenses, and outreaches to the local and international STEM community.

Team 13190

As a school-based team, it is important for us to be sustainable and ensure a steady supply of talent for future seasons. Thus, we created Team 13190 RoblivionTeam members learn basic engineering skills and are receive mentorship from 8872 daily. Members are encouraged to improve in order to advance onto 8872, progressing in robotics knowledge.
